Ask 6,500 but take 6 even if you are offered that. Unfortunately even though they are a nice car and yours is a nice example they just aren't worth that much anymore. There is a nice EF mont near where I work going for 3500 atm and they still have it (it's been there for about 6 weeks now), good luck with it anyhoo.

Neat looking car mate.
My brothers old EFII Fairmont was sold at a car yard after he traded it in on his BA for $11,000 and they got it too. But that was more then 12 months ago.
The dealers tried too play on it's mystery side saying it was something special the computer wouldn't allow them any options or too touch anything it was herrod built 5 speed manual and LSD from a EL XR6.
Which it wasnt herrod that was there BS story:P.
Try $7000 and see if anyone will give you that or slighty less.

Have these cars taken that big a tumble? We have a Fairmont Ghia, 77 EL, Heratige Green with grey leather and factory six stacker. Less than 130,000km and service history. Thinking of selling. What would I get for it?

Thanks

Steve

Your car looks good , my neighbour only recently ( 1 month ago ) sold his excellent cond. original EF2 Ghia 160km ,leather (cracked /poor cond like just about every one ive seen ) , 10 months rego for $3800 .Even had the original unused spare .I would say yours might appeal to a more enthusiast crowd but i'd say $5000/$5500 max if you want to move it. Depends on location too - regional might get more , here in Sydney stuff all .

regards

Try adding some interior shots.

I wouldn't even consider buying a car advertised on the net unless I could see some pics of the inside (front and back) and the engine bay

Mate if everything is decent mechanically and thats a nice buy. Keep it at that price and dont back down from it. I paid $8,500 for my Fairmont same colour as yours nearly 2 years ago and it was stock standard, no mags, no cd player, no lowered, no nothin, but it was a nice car.

Why did i pay so much? Well i found it with 100,000 km and to me the extra money's worth it for the novelty of a under-driven vehicle.
