So, how much do you think a "HO" worth?
...guess again... At the Sydney Motor Show a HK 327 Monaro went for $220,000 Now this was an imaculate one owner job, but not THAT special. So half a million for an imaculate Bathurst HO ph3 or one of those phase 4s just HAS to be on the cards. |

A few HO's have sold for over the 400,000 mark with another for over 700k (race HO)
Can only speculate what a pahse 1V would go for as one has never changed hands for who knows when | [/url] |

Basically the market determines the value of the vehicle. |

In other words, it only needs one person to reach the asking price, or two at an auction to reach the reserve and go well over that. Last edited by Silver Ghia; 07-11-2006 at 04:41 PM. |

So what if someone thinks it is worth X amount. If the buyers will only pay Y amount - the car is worth Y. |

i knew he sold it once and got it back.( just from my dreadful memory), but this sounded recent.reading one of my 2 mint copys of super ford vol 1, mann bought it off bowden in 86.bowden bought it of keith goodall in 73,sold it in 75 and bought it back in 1980, then bought it off mann in 1999 again. i got confused as mann owned it in the doco "the legend- falcon gt"

An aquaintance of mine has a genuine Phase 111 HO on blocks for the last 16 years in a shed on the family farm. It was bought by his father new and used as the family hack, it's done 250,000 kms and the paint is crazed. His father gave it to him but he's leaving it where it is as superannuation and will restore it and sell it when he retires.

just remember Ho's were worth around $100000 in boom of late 80's then after stock market correction they dropped back to $50000,now they are up there again and have reached unimaginable prices, when we have another crash in world stock markets ,who knows what will happen ,
thats life in our big brown land, markets change all the time.
