Default Ford Roadside Assist

The option for renewal came in the mail today, but I'm not sure if I should get it or not. It came for free for 3 years with the Falcon.
Has anyone actually used it? Is it just the RACV that comes out? $165 for 3 years of peace of mind doesn't sound too bad...

Number 2 son would still be walking round in the dark with flat batterys (stereo pluss amps at full noise in car wash) no fuel again (gee is that what that light means). :sm_headba its cheaper than RACV in Vic.and we (parental units) still end up with more sleep (gee I didn"t no its was that late ) and less hassles even if we pay for it :hihi:
so far the service has been exellent to..

I had to use it the other day when my battery went flat. RACV guy came out within 10 minutes. I was very impressed! If the rate is cheaper than the RACV rate then I'd say go for it. You get the same people coming out anyway.

Thumbs up Take it..

Its the best 165 bucks you will spend..

Basic RACV membership is $71, (rumored to be an increase in 2007).

Ford Assist has benefits which are not available on RACV basic jobbie, you have to up-size to the $120 extra care to get similar features...
