Default I must have 'Leon'

There was a full page ad in Qld's Courier Mail December 16-17 promoting 'leon'
the fuel saver. Sorry if this thing has been covered before, but I just caught up with it and I just had to share.
Although it's a full page promise, it seems to lack any detail of how 'leon' works except to say that it gives better consumption. it does give some examples though. With our fair breed of bangers in mind it says that a BA Falcon went from 12.95 l/100k down to 5.6. Another example is a BA XR8 down from 11.75 to 6.87. But wait there's more, an AU falcon taxi with 483,000 Ks on LPG down from 18 L/100k to 12.
Even more, 'leon' manages driver fatigue too, but again no details. They don't mention anything about cost, but I'm sure it will pay for itself in no time if someone is willing to phone the machinery doctor. It seems to do everything except make your todger a couple of inches longer. (Bang goes that new years resolution about cleaning up my act after just 18 hours and 50 minutes)
If we combine this thing with the one that's been around for a while saving us 21% of our fuel costs, I may only have to fill up annually.

Leon sits in the boot waiting and when you run out of petrol he pushes you the rest of the way. Handy!

Yep it is all a conspiracy. Ford have mo idea how to half their fuel usage but this gizmo is the solution.
It is not new, I remember seeing something about a "Leo Wayne Car" of Paul Hogan years ago........

These fuel chips are all relatively poo. If they worked, the major car companies would be making their own and using them.

No. It's all crap.

I get 12L-13L/100km from my EL every week. Helps that it's pretty much all country driving though :P

A BA Falcon getting the same fuel consumption figures that I get out of the Diesel Pug? I'd like to see that!

Sounds like crap, and im sure the testing was dodgy if they even test it. but fuel can be cut with aftermarket chips and then some foot training followed by using a quality fuel. It might be possible to get it that low. I dont know.
