Default New Ford Owner

Hi peeps,Thought id pop in and say hi.
Just recently bought a 2001 XR8 sedan and 2000 XR8 ute.
The ute is going to get a new body kit and respray very soon.
Before buying these i had Holdens so im a new ford man.
Ill post some pics of the ute soon for some befores and afters if yous like.

Im getting the kit the same as that black awc ute except no shaker.
I was originally going to paint it black but there are to many going around in black so im going to go like a gunmetal grey colour any sugestions?
at the moment its an ex jax tyres car so its yellow with blue and red stripes LOL
it stands out.

I think the colour is called Meteorite, a very, very nice colour, it was the precursor to the Mercury Silver in the BA range IIRC.

Yep i bought 2 the sedan is already black so it will stay as it is.
Ill grab some paint chips out and check that Meteorite colour out! it could be a good one from memory it has a course metallic in it thats what im after anyhow.

Bluedriver had an awesome example of a Meteorite XR ... was a top vehicle that.
I am sure there's photos lying around somewhere.
