Default Orion Visions

Rather than spoil the serious thread about the 2008 Falcon, I thought it might be interesting to have members post their expectations.

I particularly liked these renderings by "The Stylist" on carspyshots.net

For some reason, the nose reminds me of a Mazda 3.

I like the look of the car. Looks aggressive and sporty.
I am not a fan of the small windows though. I like big windows.

But the pics are good.

I would like the Orion to have two profiles...the family car (which includes luxury) and the sports profile. The family car should have a new, modern look with some aggression that will make Australians pic up their Wheels Car of the Year (VE cover) and wipe their bum with it.

The sports models should make Australian car enthusiasts of all breeds use the pages from that Wheels issue to catch their seed. The car should look ultra menacing and spell out the beginning of an era in Australian car design, and put the VE to true shame.

That picture looks great as a sports car...big wheels, headlights etc, but I just can't see that exact pic as a family car.

So I'd like the two profile thingy.

Apparantly the headlight design has changed, straight edge along the bottom, now with a raised brow along the top. Can't confirm as yet.

Love it. I can see that sketch Rob is causing all sorts of headaches at ford at the moment, lot's of people saying; "Yeah, that's even better than what we had, if orion looks like that we may not need that blimp to sell em after all".

Been covered before, no doubt MB saw the AU rear..

If the AU looked half as good as the Mercedes beast it would have sold much better than it did.

The proportions are fairly similar to VE (wheelbase not as long) but it's a far more organic design (I think anyway)
