Has anyone got a tow bar on there AU3 XR8. A mate of mine needs a tow bar on his and wants to see what it looks like. If anybody can supply a photo it would be app
It's the AU3 with the mesh inserts in rear bar Thanks

No Towbar on mine and it aint gunna be getting one as ive seen a few on S3 XR8 and its not a pretty sight with i big chunk of the rear bar missing ! :eclipsee_

If it's got the Rebel kit the neatest option I've seen is a letter box slit cut into where the tongue sticks out, if you use the standard Ford towpack.
The other option is a custom setup with a gooseneck that goes underneath the bar (which is also possible).

I understand your thoughts AU302 but need to tow trailer on holidays with kids etc.
Thanks Dark Horse, I need to see some pics before we make a decision eg. Change Bar and fit tow bar for hols and put it back together after hols

Ask Bluedriver on here for some pics of his old Meteorite AUIII XR8 - his setup was the letter box slit.
