40th Anniversary GT hasn't even started on the production line yet. So no one will be owning them. May have ordered one but haven't taken delivery

They are only making 200 40th GT so 50 (25%) are sold/ordered.

I suspect sales are poor - I hope I'm wrong.

I haven't seen any on the road yet anywhere.

i've seen a few different forces in perth. I see at least 1 new one every break (i'm home every second week)

in context i've only seen 2 ve senators so in perth seems new fords are more popular (at least in northern suburbs)

GT too soon, but why would you bother? Just order a GTP in your prefered colour.

Force 6/8 My local dealer has an F8 in his front window with $65K on it $10K off ... I think its an 06 though.

I have been to look at it 5 or 10 times and considering what it is and painted Mettalic grey like the TS and that it is the natural successor to the TS. I just can't bring myself to by one, and I bleed blkue.

This is not a critcism of my local dealer who sold my folks a car in 74, will deliver a Territory to my wife in the next couple of weeks and others in the middle.

However if it had another 100hp or some torque below 4000 i'd own one already.

Max torque is 520 at 4500. I don't think 520 nm would be made in just 500 revs

I am always amused at the "no torque down low" comments.
One of my party tricks in my GT-P was to slow down to about 30km/h in 3rd (T3650) and then accellerate up to 150km/h with no clunk clunk, shudder or other weird noises.
This would be with 2-4 POB, something my F6 cannot do.

The BOSS is now and always has been a VERY good engine for a GRAND TOURER as in a car that is versatile and suitable for all types of spirited real world driving.

Very true, I love my BOSS. If I could sleep with it I would.

I have not seen a Force model yet at all. I'm in Canberra so probably won't see one around for a while yet. It's rare for me to even see an Phoon F6.

Truck loads of GTs here though so I'm more likely to see the 40th GT before I see a Force I reckon.

Theres nto alot of Force cars around in stock, so either FPV arent pumping many out or they are selling rather well!

Most of the first batch were put on as dealer demos, they are going to be in the low 60's and are probarly due for sale now, my dealer has one but i wouldnt touch it after every other man and his dogs driven the balls outta it.

My parents bought a Demo BA XR8 back in 2003, for the time they had it, no drama's and pulled like a train, for the money you save i would jump in a demo any day.

I've seen about 3 Force models on the road here in Adelaide, the Holden state. Had a close look at a Black Force 8 in the showroom, it looked fantastic. Now that would be a great car with my supercharger kit behind the ZF auto!
