Default LED's for instrument cluster

hi, i want to change the backlights in my instrument cluster for my AUII. Just wanted to know how many LED bulbs i will need and whether i can just use the normal blue LED bulbs..

Just remember if you want blue led bulbs you wont be able to see your instrument cluster needles at night at all

Just take the needles off and sand the red off with fine grit sandpaper(2000). Worked fine for me

On AU2/3 clusters you dont have that option as the needle is made out of red clear plastic. If your going to mess around doing that stuff better of putting in a tickford cluster with the white dials that light up blue. costs a bit more but worth it

this will work fine with S1 cluster but nor S2 or 3 cluster as previously stated the needles are actually transparent red plastic
