Hello All,
I've been wanting to fit a nudge bar on my AUII Tradesman. I've picked up a second hand one, naturally with no instruction sheet, so I have a few questions. I want to ask those who have fitted one themselves how they did it? Do you have to remove the black plastic shield from under the front bumper bar, and /or remove the bumper as well to fit the mounting brackets? How about the two black plastic inserts in the front of the bumper? They look the blanks that would be replaced by fog lights. Is there anything I have to do about the air bag sensor? |

From memory ... what I saw the 4WD place did ... they removed the bottom plastic shield to install it ... but the mounts are into the metal through the lower opening in the front bar .... I don't think the front bar had to be removed.
But don't quote me on that ... the black caps in the lower front air dam had to be modified to fit. I'll see if i can get close-ish pics for you. Also depends what brand nudge bar you have as well ... as there are a few different styles/shapes/mountings available for the AU as well. Old pics though ... but the only ones that show it I guess. Oh ... Mine is a BOCAR 76mm polished bar.

I've fitted the TJM style. For it the undertray and front bar cover have to be removed. If it is a TJM one you can PM me for a copy of the instructions. There are three styles that I know of (TJM, BOCAR and East Coast Bullbars) and they all have different mounting systems.
