Good luck finding one, you may get a few private ones for that much in Series1, series 2 and 3, no chance.

I saw a nice looking silver AUIII XR8 in Cranbourne today but I have no idea on how much, how many k's or trans type. It was at a car yard on the Sth Gippsland hwy, I think it's Freeway Fords clearance yard. It was a beutiful looking one though.

Took that silver one for a spin, very nice and clean car, shame it didnt have leather, but nothing some seat covers cant fix lol.
Definatly a mint car, went well, drove like new, pity they cant do a better deal with the ute otherwise it would be in my driveway.
Whoever buys it, you will get yourself a great car.

We had a look at it today. Very nice! And great price, especially with those k's on it but the guy would not let me test drive it unless I commited to buying it today. I go to him "I can't make a decision like that until I atleast take it for a test drive" and he says to me again "ok but will you commit" We just walked off. If he had let me test drive it and depending on what deal he would have given me on the AU, we may have bought it, because I did want it, but...

Oh well, as nice as the xr8 was, I won't go back there. I'll keep looking.

Damn it! Why is it as soon as i actually make the decision to sell my car and buy and XR8 everyone else is looking for one too! :P
I had a look at the Redbook valuation tool on carsales.com.au and it says an AUII XR8 is worth a maximum of $15,200 in manual form. I just need someone to buy mine!
