Hi all,
I am after info from anyone who has had an Edit done. What mods have you had done previously, and what did you get. Was it value, and what sort of increases did you find. I am particularly interested in a perspective from an owner, rather than a "mate of a mate" or a "I've heard" type gig. Cheers, Mike

I have had an edit done on my Falcon, to go with the full Di Filippo 2.5" system. Certainly livened things up! I am of the opinion that it is well worth it. It also helps the shifts as well. I don't think the mechanical mods can be complete unless you get an edit to help it all tie together. Then there is always the bonus of extra power! I say go for it!

Will the Ford Flash Tuner tune out a gear ratio change so that the speedo reads true ? I have just booked the XR in for 3.9 diff Gear Ratio change , the diff mechanic has told me the speedo will be out once the 3.9's are installed,

I went the edit. I already had the exhaust, CAI. The gain from the edit was a nice 18rwkW. The bum in seat effect was noticable. I also went from mid-15's at Heathcote (previous best was 15.14 at Calder, but I haven't been back) to 14.8s. Fuel economy improvement was a nice bonus.
Best of all, the service I've received after the fact has been great. Pick a good tuner and go for it!

dev 4 . I had 2 edit tunes by 2 different tuners.First result was 15.19 second result was 14.773. The feeling from first tune to second tuner was immense. A good tuner will know how to tune wot , part throttle and idle.

If i can't get the Speedo corrected then I am not getting the Diff Ratio changed , not having the correct speedo reading is NOT an option.

Tri Power ran a 14.2 or thereabouts, yeah? I think he just had edit, cai, pipes, and vernier gear.... (and a pretty good tuner ;) )
